Partners In Treatment Mission

If you have had lingering issues with experiences of trauma and continue to feel less than, we are your place to plug in and heal. By using several types of proven brief intervention therapies you can immerse yourself in treatment to reduce the negative emotions linked to your past.

The professional staff at Partners in Treatment specialize in Trauma Informed Care. Larry Mabry, LCSW, NGCC-II specializes in Psychodrama, which is where clients act out their personal problems by spontaneously enacting roles in dramatic performances while in group or individually (Based on SAMHSA TIP 34). We use Psychodrama to assist clients in getting to the core of their addiction, anxiety, depression or other behavioral health issues. The approach assists the client as they become willing to recreate past traumatic experiences. This is done through active participation while reenacting, role playing, and allowing the client the freedom to openly express the traumatic event(s). Our staff will work with the client to identify the different parts of themselves, then assist them to reintegrate their maladaptive defense mechanisms, and develop effective ways to accept their inner child, their angry self, the quiet child, the abused or neglected child. Larry Mabry was trained by John Heider, who was trained by Fritz Perl, the creator of Gestalt Therapy.
